Have you been thinking about the Nissan Frontier? It’s a tough mid-size truck with massive capabilities, standard driver-assist features and connectivity. Nissan has really stepped up the tech game in this one. It’s not just a truck anymore, it’s really smart. See how Nissan thoughtfully updated the Frontier to meet the demand of modern drivers.

Advanced Connectivity Features

  • Smartphone Integration: The Nissan Frontier offers available wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This means you can connect your smartphone to the Frontier’s infotainment system without needing to plug in a cable.  It’s a huge convenience factor, keeping your center console clutter-free.  When you connect, your smartphone’s interface is mirrored on the touchscreen.  See your favorite apps, navigation and music directly on the vehicle’s display.
  • Wireless Charging: Reduce even more clutter with the available wireless charging. It’s easy to access and angled to keep our phone in place as you’re off-roading.
  • MyNissan App: Get more access to your Nissan through your smartphone. Combine it with a Nissan Connect services subscription and you can do all kinds of things.  If equipped with the remote engine start system, you can start your truck and unlock it ahead of time.  You can get real-time notifications about your truck’s health and whereabouts (just in case it took off without you).
  • New 12.3” Touch-screen: See everything bigger and better on the new 12.3” screen. The feature is available standard, depending on your trim level.
  • USB ports and outlets: It’s like your truck is a mobile office. Up front you’ve got USB-A and USB-C ports, along with a 12V DC power outlet.  Depending on the trim, you will also have the same connections in the back.  The connections in the rear are only used for charging and do not interface with the vehicle’s audio system.

Driver-Assistance and Safety Systems

  • ProPILOT Assist: Your truck comes standard with this advanced driver-assistance technology, including adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist, designed to help keep you safe during long trips. From Spokane to Coeur d’Alene to Montana, the Frontier has you covered.
  • Safety Shield 360: Nissan’s suite of six Nissan Intelligent Mobility features have your back while you’re driving. These standard features include automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, rear cross traffic alert, rear automatic braking, blind spot warning, lane departure warning and high beam assist.

A Little Something Extra

There are a few extras to make the Nissan Frontier more enticing.

  • Zero Gravity Seats: Drive in comfort with the Zero Gravity front seats. These seats are designed to keep you from getting tired and achy.  You have to come sit in one to experience the difference and see how they hug you in all the right places.
  • Tilt and Telescoping Steering Wheel: Do you sometimes get into a vehicle and you can’t get the steering wheel just right? Nissan fixed that in the 2025 Frontier.  They’ve made the adjustable telescoping steering wheel standard on every model.  You can pull the wheel towards you or push it away, and adjust it up or down.  No more feeling cramped or stretched out.
